Default Legs???

I am looking at a new routine.

leg ext 2x20 for warm-up
squat 5 sets, 8 reps (not going pass 455)
deadlift pyramid up with 8 reps (about 4-5 sets) on all sets all the way to 1 rep max weight, go by quarters and 45's on this
one leg, leg press supersetted with one leg calf press, each side 4 sets 12 reps on leg press and failure on calf
leg curls seated curl, whole weight tower 12 reps for 3-4 sets
leg curl, lying just 2 sets to squeeze off real good with only 160-200 lbs

Too much?? done every 4-5 days

Hmmm, seems a bit much to me...I like to split my quad and ham workouts, i do ham's with back (deads) and quads on leg day (squats).

Does not seem to be to much just not enough rest time in between hammering them that hard, If you are going to do it every 4 or 5 days only do it for about 6 weeks after that I think you will plain out. Blast it awhile and see what it does for your legs.

I did it today and definitely need a boost before I go and midway through. I will say going from squat to deads is crazy painful on the quads till I get to the higher weights (495, 545, 585). Then it feels like my form gets better the higher I go. Make sense? Not to me. Maybe I am using too much leg on the lower weights? Probably. I need to find some different Ham exercises too. I have exhausted the stacks on the Cy-bex stuff. The single leg calf ext. on the leg press machine are schweet for burning up the calves.

Those are DL #'s, not squat. My knee's would kill me if I squat that much. I have to start wrapping at 365 or I will be crying. DL'ing doesn't require that much of my knees like squats.
