Which schedule do you follow and why do you think it is the best. There have been discussions about which one is better. What is your opinion. Me, I train around an hour or so after I wake up. I have always done this mainly because I feel my muscle responds better after getting some good rest. There are those that tell me that training in the P.M. which would be in the morning for me ,because of work schedule. is better for muscluar growth because you can rest for a longer period of time. Lets hear your thoughts on this.

In the morning you are talking about after you wake up. I think it would be best to explain that.

I go in the evening since I feel I have the most energy then. I guess working out in the morning is fine as long as u getthe proper pre work out nutrition. Training on an empty stomach after 8 hrs sleep and no carbs is a good way to lose muscle. In the end I say train when time allows. As for test levels I've heard they peek between 2-6pm and I also read somewhere that strength level peaks 8-10 hours after you wake. There are also other levels to think about though like your carb levels, fat levels, protien levels... Something to look into.Come to think about it, maybe your right about that test thingsince I tend to wake up with a woody hmmm![]() |

Ideally I would like to train in the morning when I get off work then be able to sleep. But training partners schedule is he is a day shift person soe that is out. Does not matter to me as I feel I still get a great work out. Maybe by body just responds to it that way. Adapts so to speak. We do however on Saturday morning usually have a morning workout and and evening workout so I do get it sometimes.
