I was just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with CLA (Conjugated Lineolic Acid). I just bought a bottle and plan to take it along with my normal cycle of Hydroxycut (w/ Ephedra).

I had a buddy tell me that it would accelerate the the fat-burning process and that is all that I needed to know. Is this true or is that just wishful thinking?

From all the reviews that I've read about CLA it does increase fat burning amongst other things. Try doing a search on CLA on this website as well as on google and I'm sure you'll be able to turn up a good amount of info. BTW I do take CLA and from what I've heard it can take up to a month before you start seeing results.

I think it works well. You need about 6-8 grams to see the difference.

Strangely you should take with your post workout shake. When it enters the fat cell is when it can turn on the fat burning "gene".

I notice in a week or two.

I only take 1 1000mg pill in the morning with my protein shake. Should I up my dosage?

I have some softgel caps and they're 385mg each. The directions just state to take 2 before each meal.

I thought,.... if I do that, they're not getting in my system any quicker than if I swallow them 60 seconds into my meal really are they? They don't tell you to wait, they don't tell you to take with certain foods, etc.

So their directions would be almost 2,400mg (roughly) per day in divided doses.

But to those of you with experience using this, you take it all at once? And only after workouts?

What about "off" days?

And what about other supplements,...mixing that is.

(PS: My gelcaps are almost black in colour, like a very dark greenish brownish colour,...and very hard to swallow! How about yours?)

I would take at least 6 grams. Studies show that under 6 grams it is not effective.

On workout days, I would take with my post workout shake, and the next meal. 3 at each.

On your "off days" take with each meal, for a total of 6.
