Default kicking drill part 1 - 03-29-2009, 05:44 PM

Iím starting a video series on working kicking drills. I know that not everyone is interested in this stuff but I feel it helps flexibility even if MA is not your thing. Itís just another way to stretch and do cardio. I ran out of video card space but here are my first videos, hope they are not too bad.
I have 3 videos; the first is a pause squat routine. After my leg workout I did some stretching and a few kicks. I will try to add to this in the near future

The mind and the body are interrelated: what you do to one necessarily effects the other. There must be a balance between the two. If your body is strong but your mind is weak, you are a powerful instrument with no direction; such an instrument rarely produces good. If your mind is strong but your body is weak, then you may be filled with purpose and good intentions but have no strength necessary to act on your impulses. You must strengthen your mind to control your body; and strengthen your body so you can always follow the good directions of your mind.

thanks for all the kind words, and I want to say my videos show me how much I need to work on my kicks. I want to make it clear that this is no where near correct form just my workout today. I didn't extend my leg on the last five front kicks in the last clip. I learned much from this. I hope to post some better stuff but this was my first attempt. I loved watching this Kick and yes good idea because it gives you a chance to really teach yourself as others.
