Default Shoulder pain?

OK so last week I had a pretty good shoulder workout right, I was pumped and felt great and sore the next day. Well I've had this slight pain on the top of my shoulder all week, when I went to do shoulders today I started with 20lb DB's for a warm up and it popped , I couldn't even finish my warm up set F@#K!!!! So I'm going to stop my cycle and go straight to PCT and muscle realxers and pain meds if needed. I've never had an injury lifting before and this hasn't hurt my lifts till I got to shoulder day again. So needless to say I will be lifting what I can and taking easy on my damn shoulder!!!!!

I switched to incline and decline bench only and my shoulder pain is practically gone. I still do BB MP, but only weight I can do for 5 reps or more. No 1 rep max or such, too much strain. That and I am 35, and not trying to win the Olympia. Lift smart and keep injuries away.

Getting better, still kinda has a slight tightness in the morning. I haven't worked out since last Tuesday, been baby-ing it pretty good you know. Plan on hitting the weights Monday. As doing anything to flare it up, nah thats the first time I've ever had any kinda pain in my shoulder, I'm wondering if has anything to do with the car accident.

Is the pain in the bone or muscle? If its in the bone or joint then muscle relaxers probably wont do anything. Pain in the bone usually means arthritis such a bone spur. Better go to the doc.

It comes and goes, some days I can't even do shoulder work and others like today I can work the hell out of them.

If you have insurance I would go to the doc. If the 1st doc wants to operate get a 2nd and 3rd opinion. If it is a arthritis/bone spur in about 40% of cases it may be treated with cortisone, instead of surgery. I got lucky.....so far so good anyway.
