I'm just devoted to my workout and to see results from it. I'll be looser on how hard I am on myself when it comes to my diet. I'll go to the once a week cheat day that most people go on. What are some good cheats? (Some good food but not totally bad for you.)

I'm pretty good with my diet. I'm organized and determined on my goals. I struggle with my diet when my emotions get played with. That's when my guard goes down and I eat whatever. I'm going to continue to post my daily diet even through college.

5 x 15 lbs
5 x 25 lbs
5 x 25 lbs
5 x 30 lbs
5 x 30 lbs
5 x 35 lbs
5 x 35 lbs

Overall, this workout was a great workout. I still have a little bit of pain in my left shoulder but it wasn't bad. I just have to watch it. I know it's from my bad form on my One Sided Laterals. It's not my dominate hand so the heavy weights are killer.

In my Stiff Legged Dead Lifts, I have some lower back pain during my workout but then you can really feel it the next day. Is this supposed to be happening or is it from my lack of good form?

How long should I hold the rep in my workout? I feel like I'm going a bit too fast. What's the normal pace that I should be going?

What the purpose of the Stiff Legged Dead Lifts? Is it just to stretch your hamstrings?

1. Pizza

3. Hamburger (Lean beef, I also think.)

IMO if the weights are causing too much pain you need to lighten up just a little before you hurt something. As the weight gets easier add a little weight. Thats just my opinion.

I think what it is right now is the weight isn't too heavy but I just really have to focus more on my form with the heavier weight. You can't just go through the motions with heavy weight because you will hurt yourself.

Ummmmm no! If you are lean, these once in while aren't going to kill you....but Pizza is the enemy. It has every known bad thing about it imo. Cheese (bad fat), greasy meat (bad fat), crust (simple carbs...not usually wanted).

Now that said, YOU may be able to get away with it better than most. Just keep it seldom and moderate. Eating more of the right stuff will help you build in a healthier way and keep your fat levels manageable.

I once read that Pizza ain't that bad of a cheat meal. But I have to agree with you. It contains bad diet elements that will most likely ruin your bodybuilding...

But I agree, you can eat whatever you want to just keep it in moderation.

@j1r!!!

You can try veggie/a-little-bit-of-meat pizzas instead of the regular. Those will occupy your cravings for the regular. Or try some burritos. Yummy burritos.

I wish I was an ecto so mo calories, no problems.

Burnout Regular, Incline, and Decline Pushups

Cardio - 45 minutes - Treadmill

Great workout today! I would have to say it's been my best chest workout to date. I was really focused, got into it, and enjoyed it. Thank you to those of you who recommended incorporating the pushups into my workout. I really enjoyed those at the end and they really worked.

I'll do my back workout tomorrow morning before I head off to college. I don't know when I'll be able to post next. My laptop is supposed to come today but it hasn't yet. I'll update you when I can. I'm also going to start my college log when I start getting into the gym there. I need an ID card to get in and I don't have that yet. It might not be until Monday morning for my next workout after tomorrow morning which is fine for me. It gives me some rest.

I haven't been working out everyday this week. I know there should be no excuses but with getting ready for college, things have been crazy.

Are you capable of doing any push-ups? Do knee push-ups if you can't do full push-ups. Try this next week and see how it goes:

Bench Press
8 x 15 lbs
10 x 15 lbs
Push-ups x 6-8 reps
Push-ups or Knee Push-ups 8-10 reps
5 x 35 lbs
5 x 35 lbs

10 x 25 lbs
10 x 25 lbs

This will put a little more meat in there for ya. IMO, with these light weights, you just aren't going to progress much especially at the lower reps you are doing. Do the weights that you are using really tax you? No problem if they are, just curious.

I did burnout regular, incline, and decline pushups after I lifted and before the cardio. Maybe I didn't label it good enough but that's what that is. I felt really good after my workout and I feel like it is working. The pushups at the end made the workout! I feel like my Bench Press is fine. My Incline Bench Press is lacking but I know I need to work on that. I'm really swole today so I know I did a good job. If you want me to change it, I'm up for that but I feel like it's good for me right now.
