Default Question From A Friend - 03-18-2011, 02:15 PM

A friend asks me a question and I didn't know the answer to it completely. I knew this topic had come up before on the forum but couldn't remember what the answer was.
My friend has what people would call "man boobs". When men get so fat that it gravitates to their upper chest. He's been working out but still has them. What is the correct way to get rid of them? He can drop and gain weight easily but he still has them. Thanks for your help!

I hope everyone is doing well. I want to get back into working out and might start back up next week. Good luck with your workouts!

If it's just fat then he can burn it off with diet/cardio/working out but if it's gyno then he can try using SERMs like nolva or letro to help get the gyno down. In a lot of cases surgery is the only option.

Whoever cannot take care of themselves without that law is both.

'If I live, I will kill you. If I die, You are forgiven.'
Such is the rule of honor.

Look up gyno or gynecomastia. Tell him no shame in it. Happens to some people. See a Doc and figure it out and find out what they can do for him.

If it is a genetic issue the only option is surgery. One of my buddies from highschool had it really bad and he was a pretty skinny guy. His father suffered from it too. Neither of them had ever taken hormone therapy or anything to cause it. My buddy's little brother thought he was safe because he never had signs of it. About the time he graduated high school he started showing signs of gyno and now has them just as bad as my friend and his dad. Ur friends father may have been a genetic carrier and he may have just activated the gene recently
