Bigmix man, you're still looking real good and pretty lean! If you can keep your conditioning about where it is for the off season and put in the kind of work you did last year...scary dangerous. Keep blastin big guy

at this point in those pics I should be washed out more....I'm still running fasted training in the am so I'm going to contribute some of my leaness to that.

Default legs - 12-29-2011, 09:37 PM

Legs

Okay high rep week but legs always gets a larger volume of work anyway I asked the only guy that showed up today Matt to choose his poison 100 rep leg presses or 2 mins of leg presses...he choose 100 reps (he didn't know that we were going to do both any way lol) oh man I thought my calves and legs were going to explode I had to take off my knee wraps at about 60 reps....pure fire!

Leg extensions
100lbs x4 x20 (single leg)

Leg press 100 reps
8 45lb plates x100 (this is no joke E knows!)

leg press for a minute (as many reps as possible in that time)
12 45lb plates x 48 (this hurt at the end no breaks just go)

Ass to heels squats(work the legs in a full rep range)
135lbs x 20x2
185lbs x 20

seated leg curls
140lbs x20
150lbs x20
160lbs x12
170lbs x12

standing leg curls
100lbs x3 x12

cable stiff leg deads
150lbs x12 x2
200lbs x12 x2

calf exntensions
200lbs x30
250lbs x20
300lbs x20
350lbs x20

done great leg workout I've done the 100's before it's never easy just another challenge next week back to heavy!

E inspired also!

lol! Poor Matt! Didn't know what he was walking in to. lol!

Tight work Mix! I used to do them with straps too but that blood swells up in that quad and feel like it going to burst!! I would always take them off mid set.

Wish i coulda seen you guys! You should film next time Mix. I'm going to put together a thread with everyone who went after it and filmed it. Have about 5 or 6 guys who've already submitted vidz! Its going to be awesome..

I finally got around to wrapping my knees for the first time today...man I think it's the best money I've spent. No more dull pain in the knees, reps are smooth as silk..but ya, gotta take em off for high rep stuff. Even 10-15 i take em off between sets.

Killer workout tho big guy

Thank's Ouija I usually don't wear my wraps in the higher rep stuff but hear lately I've been wearing them regardless of the weight. Yes anyone who squats should have some on standby!

Okay this was my set up 8 days straight of work the weekend shift is 12 hours I have to work the night schedule because we don't have enough people to cover it...so 12,12 go home get 3-4 hours of sleep back at work and I missed my back session with my crew. I have to hit the gym on base get there and it closes at 1600 hrs today I've got 45 min to get back and bi's in!!!

No rest really the only breaks I took was changing weights!!!! and I couldn't do deadz so this was it

Straight arm pull downs(no rest back to back)

100lbs x16
120lbs x12
150lbs x12

Wide grip pull downs(no rest back to back)

200lbs x12

straight arm pull downs/low cable rows to bottom of stomach(super set)
100lbs x12x3/150lbs x12 x 3

Bi's
curl machine
1 45lb plate x 20
2 45lb plates x16

Single arm hammer cable (gripping just the wire)
50lbs x12
60lbs x12

cable curls palms up
50lbs x12
60lbs x12

WOW! the pump was so crazy it hurt the one thing about this gym is the lighting is much better and I can see details that I didn't realize was still their with my body...I have a fullness and some what leaness that if you told me 2 years ago I could eat the way I'm eating and have this look I would have told you to get the hell out of my face with that bullsh*t!

I have to put it on the great supps and the FTP I have done...the funny thing is I haven't even really got going with my cycle of supps.

Soooo with my budget being absolutely limited food is priority then supps ...protein and creatine then the goodies I am creative and my main goal is to really shoot for a great showing in July!!! bottom line nothing gonna stop me...cause I got that FIRE!!!!!
