THANKS KRIS, I GUESS I'M STRESSING OVER NOTHING. IT'S HARD FOR ME TO BE PATIENT.
I GUESS I JUST DON'T WANT TO BE TO SMALL WHEN I GO TO DO MY FIRST COMPETITION.

THANKS MAC, I STARTED THE EZ BAR AND I HAVE INCREASED WEIGHT ON THE BAR BY 10 POUNDS. I'VE BEEN DOING THE OUTSID GRIP @ 75 LBS.
I PROBABLY SHOULD GO UP IN WEIGHT AND DOWN IN REPS AND SEE HOW THAT WORKS.
I WAS UNAWARE ABOUT DEADLIFTING HELPING BICEPS, THANKS.

7-3-12 Post competition questions.

1. After having worked for two years I find myself at a loss of where to go from here. I'm taking a week to just workout, and get my head back into the game. I'm finding it hard to find the drive I had before the competition. Help give me some ideas of how to get over this... whatever it is that is got me in a funk.

IMO, there is nothing wrong with taking a break and actually it can rekindle the fire for some. I think a lot of times the layoff or deload is more mental than physical. Give it a try and see if that doesn't help. Before you lay off...tell yourself how long you are taking off and that way you have a plan when to re-attack.

Ditto. Pick a start date. Till then enjoy some cake or something, sleep in on Saturday that kinda thing. If you need motivation, watch pumping iron, again lol.

I agree, my mind is exhausted, first from the firearms renewal and the games they played with me on that, then trying to diet, workout, eat but not eat the wrong stuff, or to much, on and on. I don't want to get to heavy though.

Sounds like a plan! thanks! I think I'll just do some cardio tonight and rest.
