Default legs - 02-02-2012, 05:35 PM

What was I thinking I let AJ decide on today's leg punishment as soon as he said 10x10 I said wait it's heavy week but then I said okay I'll do it but I'm going heavy! I gave out advice yesterday to mrb1986 about deep squatting deep was the order for squats today...oh man.

Warm up leg extensions
80lbs x2 x20

Smith machine squat (warm up)
135lbs x2 x12

Squats
135lbs x 10
225lbs x10
315lbs x10
405lbs x10
495lbs x2 (deep I almost burried myself lol)
315lbs x10
315lbs x10
225lbs x10
225lbs x10
135lbs x5(I bottomed out and was done!)

Hamstrings
stiff leg deads/reverse hack machine for hams
135lbs x12/ 2 45lb plates x12
135lbs x12/ 2 45lb plates x12
135lbs x12/ 2 45lb plates x12
135lbs x12/ 2 45lb plates x12

Leg press (high foot position for hamstrings)
10 45lb plates x12 x4

standing leg curls
40 lbs x12
60lbs x12
80lbs x12
100lbs x12

Seated leg curls
140lbs x4 x12

seated calf extension
300lbs x 6 x12-20

Smoked I went deep today I looked like a fold up chair at the bottom but I've been doing deep squats now for a bit the legs were beat up AJ was done after the stiff legs but my thought and focus is getting back on stage looking much much better!

FTP back and all I could think was pulling 500lbs today 2 weeks ago I pulled 460 for 11 reps 3 then 8 no problems I knew today would be a problem when I woke up Sun with the back of my neck hurting. I felt strong but I felt way off so 420lbs was the best for the day. I'm not dissapointed and I will always be completly honest with my success and my failures on the board. You really don't realize until you try something like this how everything needs to work together so it's time for a deep tissue massage I feel bound and tight through my back so hopefully I'll get one this week.

Deadz
135lbs x2 x12
225lbs x2 x12
365lbs x 6
420lbs x6
510lbs x0
480lbs x0
365lbs x 8 x6 /120lb DB rows x8 x8 ( I just stayed with it and worked on form told AJ and Matt to keep moving)
135lbs x2 x12

straight arm pull downs
100lbs x12
130lbs x12
140lbs x12
150lbs x12

Close grip pull downs
150lbs x16
180lbs x12
200lbs x12

Seated rows (one arm)
150lbs x3 x12

Done after the deads I realize I have a mental issues with this weight I need to get over soon AJ suggested we take a week off he's feeling beat up and his strength was way off todayso next week I'll shut it down or go very, very light. I'll keep adding content to this log until we get up and going.
