Their weight gainer tastes so good tho lol. I used to get the employee discount off the stuff in the back room (deeeeep deals) but my buddy doesn't work there anymore, never realized how expensive it was haha. I am on the IPYU preferred customer list though...Couple more weeks till I drop another BIG order

What Rick said! I started buying from GNC in the beginning, then found this place, slowly just about everything I order has switched over. Now everything is IPYUstore. The savings alone are worth it. Man, I gotta stop whoring myself out for the IPYUstore... or not... hah,

Hot and Tired.

Started a new'ish lifting style today, HEAVY lol. You'll see how it plays out. Basically me and my buddy are going 80-90% weight of our max for our working sets. Lots of spotting and minimal helping but we're forcing eachother to complete the sets, within reason of course, nobody wants to get hurt. I wouldn't suggest training this way without knowing your training buddy 110%, lucky for me mines my best friend lol. As of today I only needed help doing the last few reps of skullcrushers.

Arm day today:

Standing db curls: (20x12) (30x12) (55x8) (55x8, 45x5)

Decline ezcurl bar skull crushers: (80x12) (80x12) (110x10) (110x6)

Incline db curls: (45x6) (45x6, 35x6) (45x7, 35x6)

EZCurl bar cable pulldowns palms up: (80x15) (130x10) (150x10)

EZCurl bar cable curls: (150x10) (170x10) (170x10)

Finished with 15 minutes of abs, curls and planks kinda deal.

Another hot one

Lat Day.

10min 3.5mph warmup walk...the girls at the gym are looking great lately...coulda walked another 20 min easily haha.

Seated Cable row with this thing : (70x15) (70x15) (200x10) (200x10)

Laying cable rows with a lat bar: (180x10) (200x10) (220x10)

Hammer Strength pulldown machine per side: (135x10) (135x10)

Hammer Strength seated row machine per side: (180x10) (180x10)

Wide grip pullups: x10 x10 x7

Kneeling cable crunches: whatever the whole stack is...idk have to look just says "16" on it...anyways x10 x15 x15

Hanging leg lifts: x10 x6(massive cramp)

Lil stretching and done. Coulda done more weight on the machine pulldowns and rows...oh well, next time. Felt solid after working out. Arms are sore as hell after yesterday, first time I've gotten my biceps to hurt in a lonnnnng time. Project lifting stupid heavy is going well so far.

Anyone have suggestions for weight gainers? While everyone tells me get off the GNC train...their Amplified Mass XXX packs in way more calories than anything I can find on IPYU...altho some differences in composition, reading all this crap is making my head swim lol.

Whose used what and how would you rate it (or if you've heard/seen anyone else use something). I'm a lil tired of shelling out ~200 bones a month to GNC for this stuff so lookin to save some money and give the IPYU some more business...hopefully I get a free tshirt one day lol.

for the price of one of theirs, you get 2 of these almost, and almost 20 more servings. you loose a few cals/ carbs, but its good shit.

In all Fairness to GNC, they do have solid products, Ive used them before and have been pleased, but IPYU kills it in prices.

If you want to save some money on supps, you could try making your own gainer. I know BB12, before he disappeared, recommended doing that. I forget the exact measurements on everything, but it was milk, oats, honey, natty PB, and whey. Mix it all up in the blender. If you are like me you have all those things around the house to begin with. Just a thought. Keep up the good work, and yeah, $200 a month to GNC sounds rough!

I've always used Universal Nutrition's Real Gains as JB said, but I don't full dose it. That's too many calories in processed form imo. So 1/2 dosed for me which doubles your mileage...means win win! And yes, it does taste good!

Good call Rick.

I also found this Ouija, Personally I think its a little scary:

Dymatize MASS Gainer.. 1280 Calories 52g Protein and a whopping 252g Carbs... holy shit..

I don't see it for sale through IPYU yet, but damn..

I do wide grips pulldowns if I don't do pullups. Tbar I do infrequently, don't get the same pump from that I do from other things. Dumbbell rows I do maybe once a month. Still trying different routines for my back till I find one I like and can go HEAVY on all my sets.

Anyways here is yesterdays girly man chest day.

DB Flat Press: (50x12) (50x12) (100x10) (100x9)

30* Incline Flies: (20x12) (50x10) (50x10) shoulda did 55 or 60...

Wide cable machine crossovers decline: (90x8) (80x10)

Wide cable machine crossovers incline: (40x10) (50x10)

Hammer Machine Decline Press per side: (135x10) (90x15)

Felt good, lil tired cuz it was Friday. Def shoulda put up some bigger numbers on presses..but I lost power for 2 days with some storms so the diet/sleep sched went to crap. Gonna blast legs today and get my eating back on track

Solid numbers Oj!
Yeah I recommend real gains or pro complex too. The real heavy heavy calorie gainer shales are just stuffed with garbage. Gains/complex have all real quality ingredients.

Did legs..here's the short

10 min 5* 3.5mph

Squats: (185x10) (225x10) (225x10) did 315 twice and quit. IDK wtf it is but I'm terrified of squats. Like, I've had a gun pulled on me, and a squat rack is 100x more terrifying to that...def a mental hurdle I need to get over. Shit of it is, I've done 315 for full sets before..and my legs could do more. My weight either goes forward or back and I just don't feel comfortable...idk wut the hell I'm doing but it ruined my workout lol. Gonna do major deadlifts and back curls for a few weeks, maybe I'll be less scared with a stronger lower back...but if I can leg press 900lbs idk why squatting scares me.

Laying Leg Curls: (75x15) (125x10) (125x8)

Leg Extension: dk the weight, whole stack for 10, 3 sets

Abductors/Adductors: 3 sets 150/110

I forgot to take a picture of this machine....idk how to describe it either but again, whole stack, 3 sets

Standing Calf raise machine: 180x15 3 sets

Default Squats - 06-11-2011, 03:06 PM

OJ, I am not a big squat fan either and my shoulder injury doesnt help the matter, BUT at my gym they have this blue thing called a Manta Ray you just clip it to the center of the bar and it actually balances the bar for you...I tried that thing and was like wow now the only worry is pushing the weight...just a suggestion brother but I liked it so much I bought my own...Good Job biggun
