Using mono, are there better alternatives during a cut or is it best just to go off it?

IMO, it's a little bit like sodium. It doesn't affect your true weight loss....only in a temporary fashion does it mask it. I'd stay on it through the cut and if you still aren't happy with how lean you look....drop it and see.

I used mono through my cut. 10g a day, didn't cause me to retain any water.

If you're not going to enter the pain zone on leg day, you might as well go play hopscotch in the parking lot of your gym.

I agree to stay on it during your cut, as it will assist you with still pulling nutrients into the muscles.

Definitely take creatine during a cut, no reason not to. Mono bloat is typically exaggerated. If it really does bloat you at 3-5g, check out MCC.

I agree!!

When do most people take or start creatine? When they are trying to put on mass. So they eat like crap or take in too many calories and blame the creatine on the weight gain.

You're probably right, NomZ. I have tried 5g a day though but my body just responds better to 10g. I do 5 pre and 5 post.
