Default Superbowl Champions - 09-02-2010, 11:07 PM

I am going to predict ( 60% heart, 40% head ) that my Pittsburgh Steelers will win the Superbowl this year by beating the hated Dallas Cowboys.

They have a good team, I like the Vikings but it's a long season to get through with Old Bret. If he holds up don't count him out. Big if or should I say lots of big tacklers.

The mind and the body are interrelated: what you do to one necessarily effects the other. There must be a balance between the two. If your body is strong but your mind is weak, you are a powerful instrument with no direction; such an instrument rarely produces good. If your mind is strong but your body is weak, then you may be filled with purpose and good intentions but have no strength necessary to act on your impulses. You must strengthen your mind to control your body; and strengthen your body so you can always follow the good directions of your mind.

I like the Steelers but their division is too tough. I'm gonna say Baltimore wins in this year over either the Packers or the Saints. Go Redskins!!!

WOAH....WOAH.....WOAH!

Tony Homo...I mean Romo, Miles Austin, Dez Bryant, Marion Barber, Jason Witten...Oh I'm getting writer's cramp. Too many weapons to type out. Dallas will win it if they don't crumble in post season.

I hate to tell you this Rick but your first string didn't score one TD the whole preseason. I tell my good friend who is a Dallas fan, you guy's won't win a Super Bowl until you get a new QB and a new head coach. I mean I'm a skins fan so I'm a little biased.

Well, I do think we need a different coach. Parcells made Romo a better QB by keeping him better grounded imo. Plus these Carrie Underwood & Jessica Simpson flings could take a man's mind off of anything he was doing well.

I think Dallas has a great team this year, but I don't think they are going to be able to pull it all together. I may be wrong, but I won't care as long as they beat the Packers haha.

DA BEARS!(i'm not looking forward to this season, ug)

Barry Sanders was one of the most talented RB's to ever play the game. He did all that he did on a sh!tty team. I hate that he left like he did. He robbed his employer and all that were a fan of his talent...me being one of them. I agree it was a waste for Detroit to not let him be traded, but it was a bigger waste to leave the game.

BTW, never really understood the Cowboy hate. Of course maybe it's a bit like how I feel about the Yankees or the Detroit Redwings. But I don't really hate them...just feel a bit of rivalry.

If it makes you feel better I do hate the Red Wings and the Yankees much more than the Cowboys.

I think my avatar explains one of those pretty clearly haha.

Dandy Don was QB last time I pulled for Dallas.
Man I'm old.

I got a Sports Illustrated last week where one of the writers picked the Steelers to beat the Packers in the SB this year. Who am I to argue with a professional writer?

As for the Cowboy hate, I don't hate them, just think the real "America's team" is the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I do hate the Cowboys, no offense to Rick, I was born and raised in DC and was bred to hate the Cowboys. Although I do have a ton of family in TX.
