LOL! I do agree box squats are great!!! I don't do them often because of the main gym I go to doesn't have access. But I know when I was regular doing them, my regular squat strength shot up! I also like the fact that you are basically taking tension off of your legs briefly only to re-engage them to fire and thrust up! They are most definitely "gold" imo! Not to mention, I see most people don't squat low enough! Get down dammit! LOL!

Yep,
One of the things I loved about this article is it tell us that they are good for hamstrings growth too. Better more so that regular squats because the legs have to stay tight the placement of the shins don't engage the upward thrust, therefore the hamstrings are taxes and fired more in this movement.

IMO... the Box squat should be a staple in a bodybuilding movement not only strength and power but size as well. It is a much stable exercise too.
