I have a partial PCL tear in my right knee as well as some partal tearing of the MCL complex from a fall off of one of my horses. I have seen a ortho doc who is pushing me for rehab over surgery

I agree! Rehab for anything torn should only come after the repair to get your range of motion back. I guess though it can depend on the degree of the tear.
