Thanks Mac and Rick. I'm really pumped that the bench is coming along. Little by little. I'm not going to push the shoulder too hard. I take it as it comes. I wish we had some for real squat stands so I could see how much my squat is up to.
Mac thats what I'm after "turning peoples heads". You know your doing something right when that happens. lol

Well I guess every once in a while theres got to be a cloudy day.
I went walking with my boss yesterday and felt a twinge in my leg but didn't think much of it. Tonight I went to do squats and argggg. Wrapped it up with an ace bandage but the damage was done. Here's what I was able to do.
1 set of 5 @ 140 lbs
15 minutes of eliptical
4 sets of 5 of leg curls @ 80 lbs
I'll just have to take it easy for a while and let it heal. Oh well

Default Ended up being a great workout - 10-20-2010, 09:22 PM

Tonight started out strange. The bench press felt heavy (it is the second time to workout bi's and tri's with the chest and what ever else).
Rotater cuff
3 sets of 10 at 20 lbs
Bench
135 x 5 x 2
155 x 5
165 x 5
185 x 5
205 x 1
165 x 5 x 4
DB bench
50 x 10
50 x 5 x 4
rope, cable triceps
80 x 20
80 x 15
80 x 12
80 x 10
v bar, cable triceps
80 x 20
80 x 15 x 2
80 x 20
V bar cable curls
80 x 15 x 4
Cable curls straight bar
80 x 20 x 4
Reverse cable curls
50 x 15 x 4
Cable lat pull downs
100 x 20
100 x 12
90 x 12
90 x 10
I know this is alot different than what I've been doing, but I just felt good after I got through with flat bench and had alot of frustration. I don't know if what I did was a good idea, but it just felt "GOOD". I could see a really good pump in the mirror also.

Thanks Mac, I am just trying to do what I can and not make the injury worse.
I spoke with my son in the army and he's benching 265, and squatted a 300 at a body weight of under 165. I was pretty darn impressed even if he is my son. My youngest son takes his test for the fire dept today, so if ya'll would say a prayer or two...
thanks you guys are the best.

Awesome #'s! And I'll definitely drop a quick prayer for your potential fireman son!

College is going well. Busy but well. When you're taking 17 credit hours, you never get bored.
