I finally got back in the gym tonight. Tuesday I had to work and Wednesday I went to church. The had the Lords Supper that I really felt the need to be a part of.
Tonight was a satisfying workout. It was almost as good as sex. lol.

I had to read that one twice LoL, It was a really good workout. I'm setting myself up for a dynamite workout Monday.
I can't decide whether to try for 215 Monday or not. I only did upper body once this last week.

The fair was a blast. We took the grandson and we (mamaw and me) had fun just watching him ride the rides. Looks like it'll be extra cardio for me. I succombed to smell of smoked turkey leg, then I ate a couple of deep fried oreos. The turkey leg was nothing but a big bone when I got through with it. I over ate today. Had taco chips and salsa/cheese dip mix, half of a chicken faheta and some black beans. I only ate half of what they brought me so I brought the rest for lunch tomorrow. Then the fair wo; gona have to get back to the ole grind.

everything looks pretty good.if your looking to switch things up a bit try some dropsets for a week or two on your last 2 sets of each excercise.knock off about 20lbs at a time and drop it 4to5times go to failure each time.its a great system shock.dropsest,super sets,giantsets,monster sets are all great ways to stimulate your muscles.

Thanks for the headsup on the dropsets. I'll give em a try.
I gotta get back to doing things more strictly. I've gotten to where I have more than 1 cheat meal a week or little sweets a little too often.
Watch for the workout tonight. I feel a good one coming on. Maybe I get rid of some of this stress.

I forgot when I posted last night to put my body weight, 178,9 wwwwwwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhoo oooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3.9 pounds and I've met my goal. The rest is going to be gravy. (gravy = cutting for competition)

Thought I'd try posting some video. I wanted to see how it well it worked.

In that last shot, you can most definitely tell the weight loss! Also try this papaw. Don't suck your gut in on your pics, but tighten your abs. It will bring it in. Honestly, even when I'm lean enough to show my abs, if I relax my abs, it makes me look thicker there.

But all that said, it IS showing and GREAT job!!!!

Thanks Rick, I'll try that and maybe post some better photos. I need to do one with my MASS ADDICTION shirt (notice all caps on that, OH yeah) Now all I need to do is figure out how to cut up SEVERELY.
If I stay on course do you think I'll get enough muscle for competition ?

It's hard to say right now Papaw the the BF% being where it's at and the lower quality photos. But I'll bet you have plenty of lean mass to have a great base to build off of.

Just stay the course and keep leaning out. It will expose the areas you need to work on, such as it did mine where I think I need more chest and a little more quad mass.
