Default 2011 Arnold Europe Classic Pics - 10-10-2011, 01:43 PM

You can see that Vic was a little softer (but lean enuff) than everyone but he was a heck of alot bigger. I think maybe Ronnie should have gotten 2nd. I am glad Toney Freeman did well. Below are pics from several sources. After seeing the pics, where do YOU think the placings should have been?

Ronnie for sure

Here is where you can tell Victor wasn't quite as conditioned.
Ronnie in this one too BTW!

Dexter abs, Ronnie legs, but not the best shot for Vic.

Big chest on Victor (no homo as Emeka says...lol)

This is where Dexter becomes very hard to beat!

Alot of back size on Vic. I have seen Flex do his back like that before. Why?

VICTORY

Hopefully Flex wasn't holding that position on the back shot (?).

Man I really like how Dexter looks though!!! Look at those traps

lol @ Timmy!

Flex has got to work on that posing. He brings some of the best conditioning i've seen in a while but doesn't present himself correctly, Especially standing next to Toney. C'mon Flex!

Vic does look soft but size and symmetry is becoming his strong point since he has finally got his self in shape.

I think the judging was on point.

How bout Flex's calves tho... siick!

Yeah his calves are the best ones on stage. Especially compared to Victor.
Short little guy huh?
Yeah that whole relaxed back pose doesn't look right. Wonder WHY he does that. Yeah the judging was good. I think Vic looked softer but he was still friggin cut. I 100% think in a case like this mass should always overrule conditioning. What do you think?

yeah i agree, so confusing tho because i've seen condition win over size in the circuit. But in this case where you have the big boi's vs the <202's i believe mass should over rule.

I agree with you tho Carp. Mr.O is different from the circuit tho. In the circuit, a conditioned Troy Alves loses to a massive Dex.

In the circuit, name and size wins. Take the Dallas Europa Supershow, Toney Freeman walked away with the victory. He hasn't been totally conditioned since the early 2000's. Toney always does good on the circuit because of his size but never will push for an MR. O title because of his conditioning.

If Kai was to compete in the circuit he would never lose.

But the big show, it is different, conditioning is just as important as size. Take Marcus Ruhl, was the biggest bodybuilder i've ever seen and never even sniffed a Mr. O title because he never brought MR. O conditioning.

Yet he seemed to always place pretty decent in circuit. Thats why the circuit is always so controversial. The more conditioned and deserving guy doesn't always win.

Circuit - Mass and who ever has the best sponsor wins
Mr.O - Mass, Conditioning, appeal, image, etc wins

Emeka,
I agree. At the O' you got to bring size and conditioning and normally the best of both wins in alot of cases. At these circuit shows I have seen judges pick the biggest dude alot of times maybe because the crowd loves it.
You mentioned Markus Ruhl. Here is one of the best videos out there for him. Friggin huge and was in the best shape he maybe has ever been in!
