I found out earlier today I got accepted into the graduate program at auburn. I'm going to pursue my master's in exercise physiology. I'm still not sure if I will be going their because I have applied for some graduate assistant positions at other schools for their strengh and conditioning programs so maybe that will pan out. Hopefully in the next 3 years or so I will be a strength and condition coach at the college level

Thanks guys!
On a different note I hit 265x5 on back squats today and 225x5 on Romanian Deadlifts. Both went up pretty easy. Next week I am going to find my 5 rep maxes and then start going by percentages. The way I have it setup, their will be built in deloads every 3 weeks or so. I'm really going to push this power/hypertrophy split and see what happens. Tommorrow is upper body, should be interesting

Oh yea back is feeling great! I really think a weak posterior chain is what could have lead to my back problems. Ever since I have really been focusing on that with glute ham raises and barbell hip thrusts my back has never felt better.

I have never done barbell hip thrusts and to be honest, never heard of them or at least paid attention to them. Didn't you say you were having sciatic issues like I had after my DL injury....or am I confused?

Rick I honestly never found out what was wrong with my back. I had x-rays, mri,etc and never got a diagnosis. They thought it was my SI Joint

Today was upper body power day. All my lifts felt strong.
Flat DB-95x5
Rack Chins-85x5
Standing Military Press-115x5(Felt good on the shoulder)
Barbell Shrugs-275x5
EZ Bar Curls-95x5
Skullcrushers-75x5
I am going to have to rotate in a different exercise than DB Flat press for chest. I might switch to incline DB. My gyms DB's go up to 100 but after that they only have 120's. I couldnt handle that big a jump and the 95's went up easy.

OK, I just thought I remembered you having sciatic nerve pain/symptoms. I still have them but so far so good...not while I'm deadlifting. But I've still yet to go over 315. Before my max reps were 365, so I'm a good ways away time-wise.

DON'T FEEL DOWN RICK, I USE TO DEADLIFT 425 @165 LB CLASS. NOW I CAN'T EVEN DO 315 @ 200 LB CLASS. BUT I'M DOING WHAT WAS SUGGESTED BY A LEARNED LIFTER AND TAKING MY TIME. IT'LL COME BACK. SLOWLY BUT SURELY.

Well I weighed this morning and I am back down a pound or so(161 morning weight). The weekends are my biggest problem. I dont have as much of a set schedule so I end up missing a meal or two. I am thinking of going back to what I have done in the past, which is counting macros and calories thorught the week and eating whatever I want on the weekend as long as I hit my target protein. The only problem with that is I have got use to a bodybuilding style diet and dont really crave any foods. I have to force a cheat meal down each week and I forgot to get one in this past weekend. I might just keep increasing calories like I am now. It's getting a lot easier to fit pretty much whatever I want into my macronutrients.
New Target for the week:
Protein-255g
Carbs-600g
Fat-95g
I took skinfolds last night and they are still reading the same as they were when I starting bulking. Put's my bodyfat at 7%(I think i'm closer to 8-9). I have put on about 10lbs so far
