Thanks Matt I've been told by a trainer at the gym that what I was doing was all wrong. It's what I alway go back to. The ole powerlifter routine. I am trying different things as you can read. The first of the week I do heavy weight, low rep the second half, high rep medium weight. I like the pump when I do the high rep. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.

Nothing at all wrong with that type of workout. I do the same, except I have a little more time later in the week so that is when I do my strength workouts. On mondays I do a little higher rep range for my upper body and on thursdays I do lower reps and heavier weight. If you are enjoying it and seeing results, no need to change anything!!

I do my heavy workout the first part of the week because I am coming off of a 3 day rest so I can get the most out of my strength workout. The last two days are for pump, I do lighter weight and more reps.
I am supposed to be doing legs tonight, but I've got a headache and really feel blaaa. I don't know if I'm coming down with something or what. Maybe I just need to recoup and let my body catch up. All I know is my head hurts.

Thanks j1r I just feel like I need to rest and let my body recouperate. You really need to listen to your body. It's not even laziness, I'm tired, I've got small pulls and ankle hurts. So thanks for checkin in.

Take it easy Papaw. Heal up and get back to it when you feel you can.

Thanks guys, I really needed something to take me away. I'm going to be away next week to the deer camp and won't have any way to post anything. Then Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I'll have wires glued to my head and carring around a little box that will video tape and collect data from those wires. I've been an epileptic since I was 13 and as time has gone on I've started having what we have been calling jerks. So I went to the epilepsy center here and they've come up with this. I'm aprehensive because of the state laws surrounding what they can do in some cases. I may lose my drivers lic. and cc permit as well as a part time job I've had for about eight years. I'm praying that all will come out ok and they'll just give me another med. to help the problem. So when you guys get a minute say a little prayer for ole papaw. I'm just hoping I'm worring about nothing.

Thanks Rick, I appreciate ya. You know this place has become an extesion of family and it's good to know that when the need is there, there is a whole other family to pray for ya and I appreciate you guys. I feel better than I have in years, I'm stronger and look better than I did when I was in my 40's. It's thanks to you and all the guys and gals here.

On another note; today being veterans day, I want to thank all of you men and women that have served our country. I thank you for the sacrifices you have made and the losses that you have endured. So here's to ya .
And may God bless you all.
