I prefer to mix it up on conditioning....sled drags, tire flips, heavy rope work and some sprints.

I dont like to burn out and overtrain my leg muscles so I generally stay away from doing too much resistance type cardio. For me I like cardio that involves intervals and jacks your heart rate up. My favorite is basketball, sprints, and tons of very fast long distance skating on my longboard! Try any of the above and you will QUICKLY see what I am talking about!

I definitely stay away from 'machine cardio'. Im real big different barbell circuits and interval training.

Skip ropes, cross trainer, speed walk

Exactly all those 45 minute to an hour sessions do is eat away muscle.

I would have to say anything HIIT related is hardcore, and is it really true that it eats away muscle if you do 45 mins to an hour of cardio? Was thinking of a hard cardio plan to try and build some stamina

I've been contemplating this one, and I gotta say that the best cardio exercise is a toss up between power jacks and cross jacks

but it's true, cross jacks get the heart rate up quick. They are higher impact tho

I enjoy doing the Jacobs ladder and jump rope if i want to do H.I.I.T. but if i want to keep it slow and steady I'll do the stair master.

Anything HIIT is really great. Additionally, my favorites are anything you can incorporate with burpees, and battling ropes.
