http://www.muscletech.com/resources/...activity.shtml

here is a calculator that may help you get close to your specific calorie burn, BUT remember it's not specific.

The mind and the body are interrelated: what you do to one necessarily effects the other. There must be a balance between the two. If your body is strong but your mind is weak, you are a powerful instrument with no direction; such an instrument rarely produces good. If your mind is strong but your body is weak, then you may be filled with purpose and good intentions but have no strength necessary to act on your impulses. You must strengthen your mind to control your body; and strengthen your body so you can always follow the good directions of your mind.

The online calculator said 175 lbs. At 6'0", I don't think you need to worry so much about fat and just start doing something.

I guess it's pretty close. Who knows how close though(?).

What is your ultimate goal Tom?

If it's to get bigger/stronger, this calorie burning at your age and stats should be the least of your worries.

If you just want to be physically fit and just all around good shape by lifting and bike riding....than just do it and don't over think it.

Tom, first of all you don't need to doubt yourself. Right now just focus on your lifting and bike riding and enjoy it. Do your MMA as well and believe in yourself. You are young enough you can make anything happen that you set your focus on.

The main thing right now though is just don't over think this stuff. You are not too fat or way too thin. IMHO, you are in an ideal stat range for your age. You are a pretty big boy for your age. Just workout and have fun. Why not start a log here (Training and Diet Blogs) and keep us posted on how you are doing. I know me as well as others would like to witness you grow in whatever direction you decide.

Will you be riding your bike to the gym? If so, how far of a trip is it?

Tom, start a log here:

You can include what you do, what you eat, how you're feeling that day...whatever you feel like including. We'll watch over it and help you with it.

Did I miss somewhere where you had stated you were overweight? Otherwise the 3 hours just seems way excessive for the bike rides everyday.
