Default Walking to, Loose Weight. - 09-12-2012, 06:05 AM

Well walking is actually not my favorite, exercise routine because i am more into brisk jogging as i think it is more appropriate, to my condition and age. Walking i think can help in loosing some extra weight though you also have to be focusing on nutrition, or diet. If ever you jog make sure, you don't over do things as it might not help in the long-run.

Walking and jogging gross me out. I enjoy picking heavy things up, putting them down, then repeating said process

Something seems fishy about this...

And I agree with OTK.

candygirl technically studies have shown that lifting heavy things burns calories faster and for a longer period of time. Also with a low carb diet preserves muscle wasting as well.

I've heard that to Mac. And believe me I get a great cardio workout with lifting. The running is more to clear my mind than calories burned. But seeing the 500 calories burned on the treadmill feels great!!

Walk is the best source of the body fitness so start small like walking for
10 minutes once a day or waking up early just to do some yoga or stretches.
According to me that walk is so good for reduce the extra body fat and activeness....

Nothing wrong with a brisk walk but to much of it but like I stated before some people get on the treadmill and become hamsters. Nothing wrong with doing 20 to 30 minutes until the heart rate gets up. To much is when they spend up to an hour doing it when you can get more bang for your buck lifting and concentrating on preserving muscle through proper diet.

Personally, I have seen great results regarding fat loss waking up, having a cup of coffee then walking briskly for 30 minutes on an empty stomach around my neighborhood. I also take BCAAs during this time.
