Thanks Rick!! I'm just anxious to get these 8 weeks going. Today we upped my training. Added some Negatives to legs routine. And other routines I'm sure. It felt great but I can barely walk and DOMS hasn't even set in yet!!! Lol

Thank you J1 and DevilDog!!! I'm pumped. Its surreal at this point. The other day someone said how long are u going to be dieting? I thought you know, it's really not a diet anymore. It's my way of life. 16 months ago it was a diet. Now it's how I live. Finally!! Thanks or the support guys. I know in the upcoming weeks I'm going to need it to keep me going!!!

5 weeks out. 143# and my suit is done my bling is bought and silky robe hanging up for the back stage. Hoes feel good and losing lessons ongoing. Higher rep workouts with zero rest breaks it seems and rear delts twice a week!!! Ugh. But I'm so pumped. Even if I don't place I can finally say I did it. And work harder for the next comp. These 5 weeks are going to fly by!! I'm very ready. Cause then I get one cheat meal, applebees nachos here I come, then back to the diet grind cause the next comp is 6 weeks after that. Actually the cheat meal will prob still have to wait.

Me, four weeks out. I'm excited mixed with all other emotions. Body fat tested this sat to see if I've lost some since 4 weeks ago.

I'm 5 days or 6 days out from the show!!! I have only I'll feelings right now. Last night on my lower abdomen under my belly button above my pubic bone and the width of my waist I noticed pitted edema. I freaked!! The guy I train with went over everything ive eaten drank done for the past two days and I can only come up with the fact it's been so hot here and I've been on my feet all day on it for the last few days that it's making me retain fluid. I even spoke to the nurses at work and they were blown away by it. At 12% BF they've never seen anything like it. Im freaking out. Anyone ever heard oh this? Will my water pill get rid if this when I start taking it? Thanks for any advice.

I didn't know what that was until I looked it up. I found this, but you may have already researched it.

I hope you get it worked out! Not real good timing for you! Hate to hear that!

Thanks Rick. I actual thought of my kidney. Due to the sodium potassium changes. I'm not sure how long it's been there but I always poke my body to see if I'm holdin water and didn't notice it till then. Ugh. I'm frustrated. Thank you for the info. I'm going to remain positive.

Yeah funny you mentioned the potassium. I was thinking ahead how I could lower my sodium for when I get closer and I read there can be complications with it just as you mentioned. So have to be careful there too. Hope you get it worked out!

It's tricky to know what to do with your food water etc as a first timer. Seasoned bb'ers know what their body will do. I guess this is what it's like as a newbie. I'll be more prepared for my July show I hope.
