Cool Boncrusher gripper - 01-29-2008, 02:50 PM

Just got myself one off ebay, 250lb'er, never had a serious gripper before but am not lacking in grip, so going with this one.

Will give a review, they are only $9.95 plus shipping.

Hello Ashley,

I have always done my wrist curls allowing the bar to roll over onto the fingers, for hand strength, but no I am new to the idea of specialised grip training.

I work in building in my job, so use club hammers sledge hammers and more......got a fairly fierce grip.

The shop grippers are crap arent they mate? Seems they close like they werent even offering any resistance in the first place!!!

How is your grip training going?

Ben

Nice work Ashley!!

I have always done the wrist curls both sides, but also, I do reverse barbell curls-do you? They are good but a bit fiddly.....nearly impossible not to cheat with them.

Must make up one of those odd devices I guess!!!!!!

Cheers

Ben

Do you do any fat bar work? I love it. great for grip. My gym doesn't have fat bars so I use the fat gripz sometimes ( but I recently lost one, think it fell out my truck ) I load a bar in the cage and then lift the fat end of the bar and hold it for time. Works great.

Oh, I lift the end of the bar one hand at a time, then can alternate without needing much of a rest.
