Have you ever thought that your doing to much on the bench press. That is a lot of sets for going maximum effort

normally the last 3 sets are around 5 reps but yeah i see what your saying. i dont do many other chest exercises so i do more on the bench

That's fine but the other exercises also will help with the bench press as well. As we all know Bench is just not the pecs being trained. everything from triceps to lats come in the whole picture of a good bench press. Also good secondary chest exercises are important also. One of the most important in my opinion is the barbell incline chest press. This helps build that upper chest and front shoulders to get a good press on the bench press.

Yeah definitely. This was more of a second chest day last week so i didnt plan on doing a whole lot

Good workout to end the week. Press went much better than expected. Squats were kind of meh. Focused on hitting good depth more than the rep count. Weekend off, maybe some yard work, but really gonna try and rest up before starting off the next grueling 5/3/1 cycle.

I expected good numbers, but got great numbers. I think this is a 5RM PR so im gonna call it that. Was so tempted to just say **** it

Pretty decent day for chest and shoulders. I dont get excited for this day but its there because it has to be. Numbers are starting to
level out to where i was pre sickness which is good. Weight is steady around 173-174 daily now.
