Default It's December - 12-13-2011, 02:42 PM

Well it's December and the challenge put forth from Emeka is drawing close.
We didn't schedule a day to do the challenge. I and looking at after Christmas, how does Saturday, December 31,2011? I will get my son to take photos and will post the photos on either facebook or IPYU what ever the majority of the request are.
I am in need of a clarification also. I understand it's 40% of my bodyweight, but is the 100 reps split between the two arms (50/50) ? I didn't train as serious as I should have and I'm feeling I might regret it. We'll see...ya never know.

I have a challenge for you whenever you want to take it too.

DB row @ 40% of your weight for 100 reps using both arms in 5min.

So I'll be doing 90 lb db's to failure after doing db row's @40% of my body weight. Sounds like a plan. I'll get my son to do the vid or photos.
I can't wait to see results from everyone that does this challenge!

We've only just begun to do these challenges, I enjoy the adrinalin (? spelling) rush. Hopefully more will become involved and eventually I'll have one for you. Whatcha think?

12 more days and the challenge is ON!!! I'll be resting some that week instead of my regular workout. I plan on videoing this. I may have to do it at my Office with my elcheapo weight set. And I do mean elcheapo.

Well I made a valient attempt at the challenge. I did 30 reps with the right arm then my son made me finish the 50 with help. I did 24 with the left arm and my son made me finish the 50 with help. I waited a couple of minutes and did 5 or 6 reps @90 lbs. after that I was toast.
