lol, i don't know how this is going to go but i feel the need to attempt it. If i can get one more person to jump off this cliff with me i'd feel a little better. Doesn't have to be 250, anything in the 200's is cool.

At a pace of 1rep every 6 seconds, I should be able to do 225. Might give it a go this Friday. When is your attempt Mek?

Sounds cool but ahhhhh, what about body weight or 185. I am weighing 180 right now.
i'll play around with 200 and see what that feels like, but trust me 185 would be a good workout. I move pretty slow and pause a second or two at the bottom I'll have to pick up my speed.

The mind and the body are interrelated: what you do to one necessarily effects the other. There must be a balance between the two. If your body is strong but your mind is weak, you are a powerful instrument with no direction; such an instrument rarely produces good. If your mind is strong but your body is weak, then you may be filled with purpose and good intentions but have no strength necessary to act on your impulses. You must strengthen your mind to control your body; and strengthen your body so you can always follow the good directions of your mind.

Wassup Kickboi!

Sure go 185lbs but see how that 200lbs feels. I believe you can push through 15 extra lbs. If not, you and only you can knock it out with 185lbs.

Happy lifting! When are you going for it?

I think I'll try Monday 7-11. I plan to video my attempt so you guys can bust me up on my form. I think I'll start the video at the 8 minute mark and see how it goes from there. I don't know if I can get 100 reps in 10 minutes but I will give it my best and try to keep it close.

Mek are you going to go for one giant set or split it up? I was thinking 3 or 4 sets of 20 and finish off with sets of 10. If I can get 3 sets of 20 in under 5 minutes I think I'll be close. I'm going to hit arms today but I plan to feel a set of 20 so I'll have somethging to think about.

I got my humbled ass handed to me LOL. Got to about 47 and had over 6 min left, and then died.
I think I need to split it up and rack the weight, by keeping it on my shoulders the entire time it seemed to really ware me out

I'm pretty sure I was just mentally being a little beezy, looks like I have to shoot for it again next Friday.

Still impressive Kris!!! That's a hell of a session as it is with that much weight & that many reps in the amount of time you did it!
