Sorry Rick, but the parts of Texas I drove through were all flat with no trees. I gotta have my trees and mountains being a West Virginia boy....unless there's parts of Texas with mountains, trees, snow, good fishing and camping spots....etc

What about having a thread for the deer harvested this year?
I'd love to see what everyone brings home.

No sir. I don't have that type of gun. I only dabble in deer hunting. To me.... the access I have is barely a sport. It's like sitting in your back yard shooting squirrels. LOL I do love to eat it though!

You can start one, but not sure other than you and Mac who here hunts.

Cra_training, brother every year when I go hunting it's very special to me. I haven't always been able to do this. I've been very blessed to be able to go every year since my son was 8 years old I've been blessed enough to go hunting. Your right though, it is very special. I wish people here in America would wake up and realize how special we have it here. If you don't mind, where are you located?

Mac I hope you get a frezzer full too. If you get too many I got a little room in mine. lol
Oh, I bought me a .22/.22 magnum pistol last week. I really like it. It marketed from Cimeron out of Texas. It's a western style.

Oh yes I'd like to be there to see your first hunt. It's really great and exciting.
