I have to go back on something I said in one of my previous threads in this discussion. about doing cardio on leg day.

Now, I don't believe you should be doing an all out intense cardio session because let's be honest here. If you can do an intense cardio session after leg day then you obviously are not training legs hard enough.

I believe a good rule of thumb should be to do something cardio wise to prepare your legs for battle then some light cardio afterward to help Reduce the build up of Lactic Acid and to reduce DOMS.

Now the way I'm training now. I only lift on Monday, Wednesday's and Fridays. midday. I don't see anything wrong if your goal is to loose weight that on those leg days you could do light cardio such as the stationary bike in the morning or evening. You are still going to help reduce DOMS here.

Also the extra cardio will help keep caloric restrictions in balance. For me anyway... Now that I'm being pretty strict on my diet I still have the cardio to burn extra calories. and it helps my knees too.
