Thank is sooooo funny cause I yeah I see overweight people with some big calves that were actually kinda of lean too!! LOL
Yeah that is the name of the game is to hammer the heck out of them as often as you can. That is one bodypart you cant give up on!

Nothing great was ever achieved by being realistic. Most people get scared when setting goals, and ask only for what they think they can get, not what they really WANT. This is a mistake because puny, "realistic" goals are NOT motivating, WANTS are motivating.

Ever since Middle School, I have been told that I have had huge calves. But I never 'worked' them in a gym until recently. So how did mine start large? I use to live in an old farm house where everything creaked including the stairs to the second floor and my bedroom. So I was 'tip-toeing' all the time in the house to avoid making noise especially when mom/dad were asleep so that I could go down stairs for whatever reason. After living there for so long, I developed a pattern of everyday walking where I always walked on my toes and bounced while walking. To this day, I still have issues walking normal and have to devote conscious thought to walk normal....usually with the mantra of "Heel First, Heel First" for each step.

So I believe that my calves came from years of 'walking on my toes.'

i recently saw an older woman walking around the gym probably about 45. she had sweatshirt on and jogging pants and looked just like an average woman at the gym. thats until she stepped onto the cross trainer and i was walking up behind her and her calves were ripped and bodybuilding quality.needless to say it was impressive.

That is why mine have always been so impressive. Clearly the most impressive bodypart I have. Hey I'll take it. LOL.

But that does not mean I don't hammer the hell out of them. I still have to. one of the first things to go on me is my calves if they are out of shape and that makes cardio really hard.

I've had some pretty legendary leg workouts added with some pretty sick ass calve workouts. I used to have a truck that was standard. Now, I knew we had some good workouts when I would have trouble pushing in the clutch

One of the people I work with said her son used to wear these to help him jump higher in basketball. Brings me to remember this:
