Gonna start out by saying I felt great today, shoulder felt good and I hit 35lb DB's on presses today. I know it's not much to brag about, but it's nice to get up a little more weight since I hurt my shoulder. It seem's the stretches I have been doing are really helping.

![]() Well my whole family including myself have been extremely sick for the past week or so, so needless to say I have not worked out since last Thursday. Being that it's Tuesday I just started my week off with chest. I kept the weights a little lighter than normal but kept the intensity up by keeping only about 30 seconds rest between all sets. Gonna kinda do a deload for the rest of the week.

OK so I had 2 Thanksgivings, tore up some food and desserts and weighted in Monday at 182lbs. 3lbs lighter than the previous week. I got my lifts in but miss placed my sheet. I'll post up my lifts for this week soon. My oldest boy has his first wrestling meet tomorrow and my 4 year old has his first wrestling practice on Thursday, so it might be slow for me this week but I will get my workouts in.

I came to the realization that with two of my boys in wrestling that I'm not going to be able to update my log everyday, I WILL be hitting the weights for sure though! I'll update probably around 2 times a week, and just post up my moods, energy, how my workouts have been going and weight changes. Doing this will give me the time I need to accomplish my goals for the show and to be supportive of my boys.

Well I killed it today! Felt good, this was my power day, so lower reps higher weight. Felt amazing, I had my Suicidal Tendencies going full blast and killed it.
I hit 105lbs on standing presses, hell yeah buddy! Bench: 205x6 225x6 245x4 Almost to my goal! Decline Bench 225x6 245x4 Standing Press 85x10 105x8 105x6 Close Grip Bench 135x6 155x6 175x6 Short and sweet! Standing Press 105lb ![]()

Looking thick ripped!!
Do you have any cardio equipment? Treadmill,bike,punching bag,running up the stairs,heck you could even use a jump rope. All of these are some options. Anything to get the heart rate up.

Matt all I have is me and a jump rope brother. I have stairs in my house but I don't think my wife would like me running up and down them. I have a bike too, but theres like a foot of snow out side.

Well it was another successful week for me. Weights shot up, and felt great. I'm liking this new Power/Hypertrophy routine I'm doing. I got roughly 3 weeks and then it's game time, I'll have about 5 1/2 months to cut down for my show. So far training is going good, I am supposed to be gaining about a pound a week but I just can't seem to gain the weight. I have been fluctuating between 185-181. I'm definitely getting stronger and my muscles are filling out nicely so no concern there, just can't seem to gain right now. I'm guessing my competition weight will be around 150-160lbs. Should be very lean.
If any one has any input on some type of cardio let me know. Right now it is very hard for me to run do to the snow. I work out in my cold ass garage and pretty much all I have is a jump rope. So I'm taking suggestions for cardio, let me know what you got!
