Took it in for a tune-up
My bike's been garage decoration for far too long. I dropped it off this weekend at Sun & Ski Sports for a tune-up and some new parts.

Looking forward to pedaling again!

You know what's most sore since I've been riding again? My feet! They feel horrible while I'm pedaling hard.

But screw it, at least I'm riding again, so it's progress. Today I rode over to the LAFitness they're building, where I plan to start lifting once it's open.

hmm, thats odd. I havent' heard of sore feet ever before. Are you rideing on the balls of your feet and keeping them level? also. What are you wearing on your feet

Both times I rode this weekend I was wearing cross-training sneakers. Normally I ride with my pedal-clip shoes, but I thought I'd ride with regular shoes a few times before clicking back in.

I was pedalling on the balls of my feet, although I may have moved to more of the middle of my feet at times.

if you were rideing clipless pedals without your shoes to clip in that would cause the foot problems. If you want to run clipless pedals but not use them all the time you may want to look into a clipless pedal with sum sort of platform around it. Like the Crank Brothers egg beater types.

Yeah, my pedals are platform, I flip them upside down when I wear regular sneakers.
