Over 50
I am 54, have been training for about 10 years, am in good health, and am considering No and some other supplements/performance enhancers. Warnings on the labels, however, typically state "recommended for 18-50 years old.

What are the potential risks and hazards of using NO, etc, for people over 50?

My non expert opinion is the caffeine may cause heart issues in individuals with high blood pressure or other medical conditions. Most folks over 50 like us have something wrong with them as the result of a sedentary life style, or injuries from a extreme life style.

I would recommend that IF you go ahead with anything, proceed with caution and low dose it. Pay close attention to the instructions and base your caution off of it's typical use. I'm no expert on this either, but I'll bet if you've been working out for 10 yrs and haven't had any issues that you will do fine. But again, start out with minimal dosing if you do it.

Thanks! I plan on starting slow, just in case.........and see what the results are. I've been only using creatine and am very satisfied with the results, but I'm also ready to try something more aggressive. Anyone currently using NO-explode? Any comments on results?

You'll see in my signature that I use SuperPump 250. I also still have some MuscleTech NanoVapor which I also like.

There are others here that swear by Jack3d.

Me personally, I don't care for most of BSN's products including the NO-explode.

superpump250 and jack 3d are both solid agree to start with a lower dose and go up gradually.
