I see constantly that we have a lot of guests that come to this website and I see a big majority of them coming to this thread.

This tells me that there is a concern about loosing weight and getting in better general health. This gets me to thinking that you are looking for answers to your question and that is good. That is the first step. Your second step is actually doing the things that is talked about on this site. I want to welcome you to express your concern about your health and making it better.

One of the toughest things to undergo while going through this change is actually seeing change. As a society we want things fast but you have to have patience in this endeavor. I know this because I am one of those people that want to loose more weight and be in generally good healthy. There are no supermen here. No pro bodybuilders who have all of the answers. We here at Illpumpyouup.com are normal everyday people looking for the formula that will make us Look better, Feel better, and have more confidence in ourselves as a whole.

On doing cardio:

You must have Patience and start out slow. If you try to hard at first and go right out today and try to run a mile when the last time you ever ran a mile was never you will either hurt yourself or be in so much pain you will hate it every time you think about it. Start off slowly and walk build up your endurance day by day. As long as you are moving you are burning calories.
When you feel like jogging a little do so. It is not a sin to stop running when you start this. If you get a little tired stop and walk. Better to build slowly.
Warm up and cooled down and stretch at the end. Don't ever just start fast. Muscles have to warmed up first.

On Resistance Training:

This is a very important part of your training regiment. You will see in a lot of threads how important muscle growth pays an important part in weight control and fat loss. More muscle means you burn calories better. It also shapes your body making you look better and have more confidence in yourself. In the almost 20 years of my experience in lifting weights I have never once met a person who did not gains confidence in themselves by weight training.
Again with this start off slowly, and build yourself up, making small goals along the way.
Warm up first and then do your training. you never want to work a cold muscle. This is how injuries occur.

On Diet:

This is the most important part of your training. Why? Because there is so much crap out there telling you to eat this, take this pill and you will loose weight. So much nonsense out there. Most people in desperate situations just stop eating and try to run hard and exercise like a madman and take pills and all of this other crap and to their horror they actually don't go anywhere.

You have to eat. Eat but eat wisely. Reward yourself every once in awhile there are still foods out there that can be used as reward but don't make it an everyday thing. Don't become so goal oriented in your diet that you only eat distasteful things. This will make you hate yourself and give you a guilty feeling every time you pick up something less than a celery stick.
Your body knows what is best for your, but you have to trick it into loosing weight and fat. Don't go the extremes in Low Carb diet, Low Fat diets. High Protein diets. Balance it out. Ask questions on this site as to what you want and to what is best.

Diet pills IMO or good for a boost in training, Not a substitute for not eating or eating to much. Plain and simple you must eat. Just do it wisely.

I will leave this to our other great moderators to help with your questions. They are very experienced. I believe in them more than some so called professional trainers because these are real world people with real world lives with real world results. Ask question and welcome to our site.

There needs to be more people like this on other sites. My friend just told me about this site the other day and its awesome. I have a question for you.

I started working out in march, and went from 193 to 169 pounds with decent muscle gain. Eight weeks ago I started a bulking cycle, and finished two weeks ago and immediately switched to the cutting phase from which I went from 178 to 169. I started taking lipo 6 last week. My main question is do you have any advise for those that want to cut up but not lose muscle mass, because I've already noticed that my arms are a little smaller?

Appreciate it.

eat more high protein foods such as chicken, tuna and turkey and take a protein shake in the morning and after you workout as this is when the body needs and uses the most protein. and a slow digesting protein source such as cottage cheese to keep your muscles in an anabolic state.

good advice ashley, Yes ashley hit it pretty much on the head. Space your meals out every 3 to 4 hours. CUT carb intake after like 3pm. After a workout its ok to have a simple carb. I follow the rule of 1gram of protien for every pound you weigh...... And cardio cardio cardio. atleast 1/2 hour 5 days a week.

As far as the lipo 6 goes its a good product. I lost over 70 pounds on it with a diet and training plan.
