Hi, this is my first post!
I am an ex athlete (sprinter and rugby player (( I am female)) but these days i work out just to keep in shape. The problem is i tend to bluk up without even trying, 3 days in the gym a week and biceps are bulging and six pack is looking good. Instead of trying to avoid this i have decided to make the most of it! Any tips for really getting into good shape, I would love to get into body building! I have a degree in sports science but specialised in biomechanics, i know basically what to do but could do with some detailed advice on weight training, gym work....
:)
love ya

its all about the diet. post up your diet/ stats (weight/height/goals/bf%)/ and goals, then we can go from there.

Hi thanks for replying. My stats are as follows:

Age: 25
Height: 171cm 5ft 7"
Weight: 62kg 138lb (although i find as soon as i start training i put weight on quite easily in terms of muscle, to lose weight i have to do a much higher proportion of cardio than weights) I do not have any weight stats as i don't really know what i am doing when it comes to that kind of thing!

Diet, generally is ok i will give you a typical day:
breakfast: high fibre cereal and juice, or porridge, or the occasional cooked breakfast.
lunch: soup or sandwich or salad
dinner: risotto or pasta or stew or stir fry or curry
I do have a sweet tooth, eat out and drink alcohol a fair bit but am trying to cut down! I do not smoke.
Main goal is to increase fitness levels of course but to become a competitive female body builder without the use of roids/supplements etc although willing to consider the use of protien/ carb supplements, prob carn't do without something???

Hope this helps:)
