View Full Version : enough weight progression?

i was wondering if the weight i am lifting is increasing enough,on the legs-(resistance machines)i have increased 20-45 lbs depending on the exercize,there are 4 machines and all have increased at least 20 lbs.on the arms(resistance)i have increased8-17.5 lbs.on free weights(arms)2-8lbs.triceps pulldown from 30-50 lbs.i will be increasing most again in a couple of days.

This is excellent progress! Just continue what you are doing, and make sure that you don't sacrafice poundage increase for strict repitions.

i started taking the no explode,and it has really helped,i feel like i am working harder while taking it than i was before,also i'm not as sore or tired as before,plus-it is an awesome metabolisom boost,i feel like i am on speed or something! wow!i started a new routine that is 2 groups per day,like yesterday was biceps and back,today is triceps and chest.

Yeppers! I'm sore for a couple of days after every workout. This just means that your intensity is at the right level. Also Sherry - make sure you are getting plenty of rest - it helps a bunch with recovery.

well,i had triceps and legs,and tomorrow is a massive leg day,because sunday is my day off!my legs are a little sore today,but i know i will be really sore after tomorrow.i am so glad you told me about the no explode. if i ever get "there" i'll send a picture in,i've been tanning too,so i'll be able to properly show my new muscleshttp://www.illpumpyouup.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

Don't worry about being sore. Like Madman said that lets you know your doing it right.


Just so you don't feel like you are cheating yourself. I am taking a couple of days off too. I will be back in the gym tommorow. I was going to make today a big back day with heavy deadlifts. I decided to spend it with my wife for our anniversary weekend. That was probably the best thing to do. I will come back stronger and replinished. I'm eating a little to much too, but that is okay too. Everything will be back to normal tommorow. LOL


You just keep up the good work and realize that what you put into it you will get out of it.

I can't wait to see Sherry - don't forget to include a "before" pic so we can see the transformation. Also - even in pictures, you will look at them and say "wow, I don't think I've changed that much at all" - don't listen to that voice - it's full of $hit. A true critique can only be given by those that don't see you every day - so when your ready - post away!

to RoaringMad Mac,i think its good to take a day to spend with your wife,thats why i take sunday off, so i can rest a day,and spend some time with my family. to madman,i can't bring myself to send one yet,i am still unhappy by what i see,but ihope to be ready by summer! saturday was a massive leg day,i'm really sore,but thats a good thinghttp://www.illpumpyouup.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif,i don't think i always get enough on my legs.
