is there actualy anything you could do to get a faster 40 yard dash time? running with weights maybe?

Here we go..
Isodynamic Bulgarian Split Squats, Box Blasts, Depth Jumps, Box Jumps, Stair Runs (sprinting)
Squats, Front Squats, Split Squats, Lunges, Reverse Lunges, Hamstring Curls, Dumbbell Squat Jumps
Resistance and Overspeed Runs, look into a Parachute, Sled or Bullet Belt
Keep working on free sprints 20, 40 and 60 yards.
The best way to improve your 40 is to get better techinque, work on your stance drive out low and remember speed is stride length + stride frequency
