I’m talking to myself here as this is a tough time of year, if you want to loose weight an exercise program will help burn more calories, it will make you feel better and it will tone your body as you loose weight: however if fat loose is a goal then you must take in less calories than you burn each day. Carbohydrates are the key, you need them for energy and you need good clean carbs for good health but the American diet is way high on carbs and low on protein for most of us. Start looking at the “meals” you see advertised example a hot steaming pizza too many carbs and low protein. Two pieces of fried chicken, fries and a biscuit (don’t tell me you have never been to Bo Jangles) you might have had “dirty rice” that is rice flavored with pork sausage.

Do you see where I am going it is hard to get a good meal unless you plan and work at it. For me going to the gym is fun and easy, eating right and getting enough sleep are more difficult for me, and BTW poor sleep habits will encourage the body to store fat.
